Private investment consortium buys Becksöndergaard from Valedo Partners Fund II Ab
A private investment consortium backed by the companys founders, Lis Beck and Anna Søndergaard, has agreed with equity firm Valedo Partners to buy back the company they founded 19 years ago. In 2013 they sold the majority of the company to Valedo with the ambition to scale the company further.
Becksöndergaard has shown strong growth the past year, in own digital channel as well as among top listed customers, which is the outcome of the brand and product development taking place, during the past years. The company renowned for its strong scarf selection and unique eel skin purses has evolved into an all-round access brand with solid growth in categories such as bags, socks and swimwear. Investment in the organization which now holds a strong and competent management team is only one out of many important steps the company has made.
Build on the legacy and original DNA and values, Becksöndergaard – is once again an attractive and relevant Brand, with a broad appeal. The strength of the brand is the playful and colorful accessory assortment, allowing all women to express their individuality.

The new board will be headed by former Chairman Danny Feltmann, CEO Designers Company A/S and besides the two founders, Thomas Noroxe, CEO Joe & The Juice A/S and Lars Andreasen, CEO Second Female A/S will step in to support and develop the brand further
The company will continue the strategy, made by the management and Board, which will keep focus on healthy and profitable growth supported by the solid and well operating organization.
